For visitors to CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF (27 August to 4 September 2016) and the parallel hiking and trekking fair TourNatur (4 September to 6 September 2016) Messe Düsseldorf GmbH has arranged various different offer packages for accommodation and travel to the fair with German Railways, Düsseldorf Marketing & Tourismus and Düsseldorf Youth Hostel.
Travel by Train and Hotel Offers in Düsseldorf
You can already travel to the fair comfortably and cheaply thanks to an offer from German Railways: From Euro 99.00 trade fair visitors can travel to Düsseldorf and back from all German cities. It is also easy to book your trip using MeinFernbus via the DMT.
For a visit to the fair with hotel accommodation there is a package for just Euro 102 per person based on two people sharing a double room: this includes a two-day ticket to the CARAVAN SALON and TourNatur and a return trip on public transport (within the network of the Rhine-Ruhr transport authority), overnight accommodation with breakfast at a comfortable hotel in Düsseldorf and dinner plus a glass of local Altbier at a traditional brewery tavern. Visitors also receive a Düsseldorf info package with a city guide and map. Attractive Package for Youth Hostels
Members of the German Youth Hostel Association visiting the CARAVAN SALON or TourNatur have the chance to book an offer package via the German Youth Hostel Association. For just Euro 32.90 you get an overnight stay in one of the most state-of-the-art youth hostels in Europe including breakfast and a two-day ticket to the CARAVAN SALON and TourNatur. An overnight stay in a double or single room is also possible at a supplement of Euro 40.90 or Euro 55.90 per person. Overnight in your Mobile Home
For true caravanning fans who prefer to stay in their own mobile home or caravan there is the Caravan Center. During the CARAVAN SALON car park P1 north of the exhibition centre turns into a huge caravan site every year. Over 65,000 visitors stay here each year and look forward to the music programme at the end of the day in the celebration marquee or a visit to Düsseldorf Old Town – reached very conveniently on the free shuttle bus. Those wishing to travel quickly and easily using their satnav should enter the following details in the address field: Am Staad, 40474 Düsseldorf. The Caravan Center is right on motorway A44, exit 29 “Düsseldorf-Messe/Arena”. Non-serviced parking spaces at the Caravan Center cost Euro 18 per day (free period from 8 am – 4 pm) with the previous and subsequent nights included.

Key for your journey to the fair: while Düsseldorf does have an environmental zone Düsseldorf exhibition centre and the Caravan Center including all major access roads and signposted routes to the fair are outside this zone. This means you can attend CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF without an emissions sticker. The campsites at Unterbacher See, Lörick and Meerbusch-Langst can also be reached without the need for the sticker. CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF 2016 is open from Saturday, 27 August to Sunday, 4 September 2016, on each day on 10 am to 6 pm. TourNatur also runs parallel from 2 September to 4 September, also from 10 am – 6 pm. Online tickets for adults cost Euro 14; Children, schoolchildren, students and CARAVAN SALON Club members pay a reduced admission price. All ticket purchased online are valid for up to two days for the person named on the ticket.
